OM SREE GURUBYO NAMAHA

Who really knows the magnitude  of raja yoga? Through the guru's words, inner knowledge, liberation, perfection fructify. (Hatha Yoga Pradipika C 4 V 8)

Without the compassion of the true Guru, renunciation is impossible, perception of the truth inaccessible and sahaja samadhi unobtainable. (Hatha Yoga Pradipika C 4 V 9)

A living guru is the manifestation of your own atma, and atma only appear when you have reached a certain stage of inner awareness . What the external guru says and wants for you is the voice of your own atma. There for, without his will there is nothing you can do. Guru can give you instant awaking if he wants to. There for the one way to samadhi is grace or anugraha from the guru.
